The Story Behind Pearl’s Pours

Hi — we’re Kortney and Roberta, and Pearl’s Pours began the way most great ideas do: over a glass of wine, a lot of laughter, and one of those “what if we actually did this?” moments.

We’ve been part of each other’s lives for as long as we can remember. Roberta is my son’s godmother, and long ago we crossed the line from friends into family. We’ve shared moves, milestones, and more “just one glass” nights than we’ll ever admit.

The name Pearl holds a special place in our hearts. Pearl is Kortney’s daughter’s name, and it was also her grandmother’s name—two generations tied together by one meaningful thread. Naming this business Pearl’s Pours felt like the perfect way to honor legacy, family, and the moments worth savoring.

When we made the move from California to Georgia, one thing never changed: our love of sitting down together, pouring a glass of wine, and slowing life down just enough to actually enjoy it. That ritual—wine, conversation, connection—became the heart of what we wanted to share with others.

Pearl’s Pours is our love letter to gathering your people, letting someone else handle the driving, and spending a few hours laughing, sipping, and reconnecting. We’re not wine snobs (promise). We just believe good wine tastes even better when shared with great company and zero pressure.

Whether you’re celebrating something big or simply looking for an excuse to get out of town, we hope Pearl’s Pours feels like joining friends—comfortable, elevated, and just a little indulgent.

So hop on the bus, raise a glass, and make yourself at home.

We’ll take it from here.

Cheers,

Kortney & Roberta
